Caring for your hair extensions
Great Lengths hair extensions are widely regarded as the finest hair extensions in the world. They are made of real human hair from temples in India, and they are indistinguishable from your natural hair. They can be styled and colored the same way as real hair, giving you complete freedom in transforming your appearance. Since they are superior in quality, Great Lengths hair extensions are also more expensive than most other kinds of hair extensions. If you want to make your investment worthwhile, you have to take good care of your hair extensions. Proper maintenance does not only make your hair extensions last longer, it can also keep them looking shinier and more lustrous. Here are tips on how to maintain your Great Lengths hair extensions:
General Care
For some time after the application of your hair extensions, you may notice small quantities of hair being trapped in the bonds of your hair extensions. This is a common occurrence, and it should not be seen as hair being removed from the scalp by the hair extensions. You can ask your stylist to cut the ends to minimize tangling in the bond areas.
Before you go to bed, you should tie your hair up in a soft ponytail, so that it will not tangle while you are sleeping. It is recommended that you use the Great Lengths pillowcase. This pillowcase is made of satin, and it is specially designed to enable your hair extensions to move more freely during sleep.
After applying your hair extensions, your stylist will ask you to return to the hair salon for a check-up appointment two weeks later. Make sure you do not miss the appointment, because the stylist has to replace strands that have not settled properly. If you feel uncomfortable or experience bond slippage after application of your hair extensions, you should seek help from a certified Great Lengths technician immediately.
Showering
It is important that you do not wash your hair with shampoo at least 48 hours after receiving a Great Lengths hair extension service or maintenance service. This is to ensure that the bonds will have enough time to settle and the extensions will not slip out after coming into contact with cleaning chemicals.
Refrain from using dandruff shampoos or other products that contain sulfur to wash your hair extensions. The best thing to do is to use Great Lengths’ products. These products are specially created to improve the appearance, condition, and longevity of your hair extensions, and they can be purchased in any hair salon that provides Great Lengths service. Make sure you follow the instructions on the bottles.
When you are showering, you have to tilt your hair backwards and wash your hair extensions from top to bottom. Washing your extensions while facing downwards can result in tangling. Use the Great Lengths Conditioner to condition your extensions. When detangling your hair extensions, you should avoid the scalp area and detangle the bottom half only. It is recommended that you shampoo and condition your extensions at least once a week.
After you have finished showering, use Great Lengths’ Anti-TapWater to create the perfect pH balance for your hair extensions. To dry your hair, wrap a Great Lengths Microfiber Headwrap or towel around it to get rid of moisture. Use a blotting motion instead of a scrubbing motion when drying your extensions, and make sure the base area is dried thoroughly to prevent bond breakdown. If you are drying your hair with a blow-dryer, you should use low or medium heat, and switch to cool shot when the extensions are completely dry.
Brushing
The best way to brush your hair extensions is to use Great Lengths’ soft-bristle brush. This brush is specially made for brushing Great Lengths hair extensions, and it can detangle without causing damage to the joint between your extensions and natural hair. Avoid using a hard-bristle brush, because it can cause your extensions to slip out.
Always brush your hair extensions with gentle strokes. Grab small sections of your hair extensions with your fingers and brush from top to bottom, starting from the bonds. Avoid brushing between the scalp and the bonds. To prevent matting, use your fingers to separate the bonds.
Styling
Styling tools such as straighteners, heated rollers, and tongs can be used for styling your hair extensions, but you have to make sure that they are placed at least one inch away from the bonds. Apply styling products only to the lengths of your hair extensions, and not the bonds. It is recommended that you use Great Lengths’ round brush to blow dry your extensions.
Exercise
Great Lengths hair extensions are suitable for almost any lifestyle. However, there are certain circumstances that may cause damage to the bonds. Activities that require constant exposure to a damp environment, such as swimming in a pool or sea water, can reduce the longevity of your extensions. Before you start your swimming session, you should wet your extensions completely to keep chlorine or salt water from sticking to them. Excessive participation in aerobic activity and regular use of sauna can also be detrimental to your hair extensions. If you are doing these activities on a regular basis, you have to remember to use the Great Lengths Anti-Tap Water immediately after every session. This solution will keep the base are dry and prevent alkalinity in water from damaging your extensions.
Great Lengths have created a wide range of excellent aftercare products to help you keep your hair extensions in the best condition possible. These products include the Daily Moisture Shampoo, Color Reflex Shampoo, Structure Repair Shampoo, Conditioner 60 Sec, Protector – Instant Care Spray, Super Shine Spray, Pearl Gloss Styler, Soft Finish Spray, Hair Mask Extra Rich, Serum Hair Fluid, and Anti-Tap Water. Great Lengths also has a number of high quality brushes for you to choose from, and they are the Flat Wooden Brush, Round Wooden Blow Dry Brush, Large Paddle Brush, Black Plastic Brush, Medium Oval Brush, and Small Travel Brush.
Tattoos: Post-Session Care
Although you are eager to flaunt your new tattoo, don't remove that bandage just yet. You have to allow a few hours for the tattoo site to heal. You should remove the bandage only after at least 2 hours have elapsed since the session unless the wound has been covered with a clear plastic wrap, in which case you have to remove it almost immediately.
As your tattoo is at its most vulnerable soon after the session, you will need to protect it from airborne infections. You have to treat your tattoo like you would an injury as it is a skin wound after all. Keeping the area clean and dry should be your top priority for the next few weeks.
Keep a little warm water in a sterile basin and anti-bacterial and anti-microbial soap. Also keep the ointment prescribed by your tattoo artist ready. Use clean water to wash your hands thoroughly. Then cautiously remove the bandage and rinse the tattoo with the tepid water, and gently clean the wound with your bare hands. Do not scratch the wound with any rough material.
By just using your hands, scrape off the dried blood and plasma. Take a clean paper towel and dab the wound dry. Let the wound to air out for a few minutes and when it is completely dry, apply the ointment. Use an ointment with anti-bacterial properties and Vitamins A & D to help prevent any infection.
If you've got your tattoo on your leg, there is a chance that you might develop some fluid accumulation in your leg. Keep your leg elevated as much as possible to prevent and reduce the swelling.
If you have dogs or cats, make sure they don't lick your tattoo to avoid risk of infection through the wound.
Avoid using peroxide or neosporin on the tattoo as it might react strongly with the pigment and make your skin look like polka dots. Don't forget to apply the ointment periodically after you clean and dry out the tattoo; you should also use a lotion in order to keep your skin soft.
For two weeks after the procedure, avoid swimming or using the bathtub, so that your wound will stay dry and heal quickly. Do not give in to the itch and try to peel off the scabs as it will fall off once the wound is completely healed.
You can make the scabs soft by dabbing the tattoo with a clean and damp towel. But make sure that you dab the area with a dry towel to dry out all moisture.
You might feel itchy but don't scrape the tattoo, instead apply a lotion if the skin peels around the tattoo. Just like any other wound, scratching a wound before it heals can lead to infection.
Don't expose the tattoo directly or indirectly to sunlight. You might be able to protect the tattoo with an effective sunscreen lotion but it would still be risky. You should also avoid shaving over the tattoo until it is fully healed.
If you have to go out in the sun, it might be advisable to use a soft muslin cloth to loosely wrap around the tattoo site. This will help keep the tattoo hidden from direct sunlight and at the same time allow circulation of air.
Note down your artist's advice on after care and make sure you follow the instructions. Friends and especially those who have got tattoos earlier may be eager to give you advice. But don't do anything that directly contradicts your tattoo artist's pointers.
Don't forget that your tattoo artist knows best as he has the experience and the knowledge.
Wax on - Wax off
Facial hair waxing is fairly quick, gets even the fine hairs, and can last weeks at a time if performed the right way. So before you go taking the warm gooey stuff near your face, we’ll tell you all you need to get longer lasting results, fight off redness and use the right products.
I highly recommend cream wax heated up in a wax pot. Great for delicate facial skin because it's one of the gentlest waxes, it’s also easier to work with than honey waxes because of its less sticky consistency. While the cold wax strips seem like less work, they don’t grab onto the hair as well as heated wax.
Have enough hair. Facial hair needs to be at least 1/4" long.
Pull or pin-back hair. You don’t want your hair in the way or end up getting wax in it.
Wash hands. You would never work with dirty tools, would do?
Cleanse facial area. Wash face to rid makeup and oil, pay dry and then apply a pre-wax cleanser. Lightly dust powder on area to be waxed. Don’t over do it on the powder, more isn’t better.
Wax on. Apply wax evenly in the direction of hair growth using applicator (wooden stick) to the hair in somewhat small sections. Be careful! You want enough wax to thoroughly cover hair, but not so thick that it becomes too thick to remove.
Cover with strip. Apply strip in the direction of hair growth, leaving some leftover strip at the end not attached to hair like a tab (say hair grows from left to right- leave leftover strip on right side). Press and firmly smooth hand over strip in the direction of hair growth a couple times, to ensure wax is attaching to hair and has slightly cooled.
Wax off. Grasp onto the end of strip that isn't attached to hair. Hold skin taut with one hand, and remove strip in opposite direction of hair growth in one quick pull, all the way to the other side. Don't pull up, which might be your natural inclination. Press hand down on skin to help relieve some of the pain, after strip is removed. (Sounds silly, but it works!) If a little bit of wax with hair remains, simply put strip back on hair and pull off.
Repeat. Continue with steps 6-8 working in sections until you have removed unwanted hair. Don’t apply wax over the same area twice or you can burn or severely irritate your skin.
Clean up missed hairs. Use clean tweezers to remove any hairs missed by the wax.
Clean wax off skin. Remove any remaining residue, with wax remover, baby oil or petroleum jelly.
Soothe skin. Apply after-wax lotion, or an aloe based lotion or gel.
Tips:
Do NOT perform facial hair waxing you are taking Accutane.
Wax in front of a large mirror (not hand-held) so you can see clearly.
Practice using the wax on a small part of your body, like your arm so you get the feel of it. Always test small amount of wax on hand before waxing, to make sure it’s warm, not hot.
If you're worried about pain, apply a numbing spray to a cotton swab and then to eyebrow area. Make sure not to get directly in eyes!
After waxing keep hands away from skin to avoid getting red bumps and irritation.

Wax warmer
Cream wax
Pre-wax cleanser
Baby powder
Muslin or pellon strips
Wooden applicators
Wax remover for the skin (or you can use baby oil or petroleum jelly)
After- wax lotion, or aloe based gel

Exercise Why YOU Should Do It
What can you do with nothing but a set of dumbbells, you ask? Provide resistance to your body’s movements - also known as weight lifting. That’s all weight lifting is – resistance. The terms “weight lifting” and “resistance training” have become one in the same because they are describing the same activity – moving your body under more resistance than it normally has to handle.
In fact, you’ve just stumbled upon the basic secret of exercise in general! Whether you are talking about resistance training, Pilates, Yoga, cardiovascular activities, or any other form of exercise, all of these programs have one thing in common - performing more activity than you would get sitting on the couch. WHY should you exercise, though?
How about defying the aging process for starters? Do you know that the primary reason why elderly people end up in nursing homes is because they lose the ability to think and move on their own? Do you also know that the entire process of thinking and moving on our own happens because we do it every day? Until we retire, that is. Once we don’t have to go to work anymore, or deal with scheduling and lifestyle issues, suddenly the only thing that we have to think about is whether to watch game shows or soap operas all day long, and the only exercise we get is deftly flying our fingers over the remote control.
Mush. That’s what our brains and bodies turn into when we stop using them. Think you are still sharp as a tack, and at the height of your game? Try to say the alphabet backwards in 30 seconds or less.
Yes…. sharp indeed.
What about physically? Think that you can still hold your own even though you don’t really exercise much? Stop reading this article and drop down on the floor for some correct-form push-ups. Did you do at least 30 if you are female, or at least 40 if you are male? No? How about 20 or 25? 15? Unless you pulled off 30 or 40, you are probably at less than the 50 percentile mark for your gender – health conditions notwithstanding.
Okay, so you’ve determined that you aren’t exactly Olympic athlete material. So what? You don’t even like sports, let alone being very good at them. That’s fine, and there is nothing wrong with that. So what about fat? Do you like bodyfat? Do you find it physically appealing? Do you think it’s healthy? If so, we’re done speaking. Go on about your business, and thanks for reading this far.
For everyone else, here is a newsflash: In America today – the year 2004 – obesity related health conditions account for more deaths in the United States each year than all known forms of cancer COMBINED. Heart Disease alone is the number one killer of American adults, and it is a PREVENTABLE CONDITION!
How about self-esteem? 64% of Americans are overweight. That is almost two-thirds of the population. If you think that a figure like that and the skyrocketing sales of prescription anti-depressants aren’t related, you now have a second opportunity to stop reading this article and continue on with your day.
Here is the bottom line, folks: Exercise and a reasonable nutrition program are necessary for ALL people, for their ENTIRE lives. Note, however, that I said “exercise”, and that I also said “reasonable nutrition program”. At no point did I say anything about spending 2 hours per day at the gym, or about eating nothing but carrots and celery for the rest of your life. Why? Those practices are just as ineffective at long-term weight loss as diet pills and late night infomercial products. Here is what DOES work:
1) Weight/Resistance Training – Weight training for both men and women has the same effect – it makes your muscles more metabolically active. In simpler terms, it means your muscles will burn more calories – even when you are sleeping. Muscle is the only site on your body where bodyfat is broken down. Weak muscles = weak metabolism. Weak metabolism = slow calorie burning.
2) Cardiovascular Training – Contrary to popular belief, this type of training is meant to help your cardio-respiratory system function more effectively, and ultimately to last longer. Does it burn a lot of calories? Sure it does. However, if you don’t combine it with resistance training and supportive nutrition, you’ll likely just burn off water weight and the muscle tissue that you worked so hard for up in step number 1.
3) Reasonable Nutrition Program – Quality sources of complex and fibrous carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, and lean sources of protein. Eat those nutrients in reasonable proportions frequently throughout your day, and your metabolism (refer again to #1) will crank up to high, and you’ll be burning more calories on a day to day basis than you ever have before in your life.
So far we have seen that not only can exercise literally keep us out of a nursing home, but it can also keep off excess levels of bodyfat which will – literally – keep us alive. We haven’t even touched on sports performance, recreational activities, improved energy levels, ability to focus, or many of the other benefits of a regular exercise program.
Personally, I’d be happy with just staying out of a nursing home, and staying alive long enough to look good in a bathing suit. What about you?
Fingernails And Nutrition
Fingernails can reveal a wealth of information about a person's health, just by looking at the color or the shape. Did you know you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their nails? Not just what their shade of polish is, or whether they do heavy housework or not by the nail length. We're not just looking at cosmetics here, but rather at unpolished nails and seeing if they have anything to say about health.
(As always, it is important to note that this is provided to be purely informative, and under no circumstances should one take this information and use it for self-diagnosis. If you are concerned or suspect you may have any condition, see your doctor immediately.)
Nails are our protection for the nerves in our fingertips, while toenails protect toes from damage or injury. They are part of the skin layer and are made up of a protein called keratin.
A healthy blood supply will create a peachy-pink nail bed. If there is a deficiency or physical problem within our bodies, the fingernails can show it.
What are some of the problems that an show up on the nails, and what are the signs?
Discolored nails: Diabetes, stress, allergies and simple illness can cause your nails to appear discolored. A greenish nail color, however, can be a sign of infection, either in the nail bed or in your system.
Bluish nail beds can be a sign of lung trouble, such as emphysema or even asthma. A simple dark blue line in the nail can be a sign of skin cancer. Tiny black streaks can indicate a heart problem, while reddish-brown spots can indicate a deficiency of folic acid, protein or vitamin C.
Yellowing nails are early signals of various internal disorders, such as diabetes, respiratory or liver problems. White lines in or across the nail can signal fever, liver or heart disease, kidney disorders or, more likely, a lack of iron or zinc in your diet.
We see what the color of our nails has to say, but what about the shape, texture and overall condition?
Nail shapes: Nails that tend to curl under at the tips can signify respiratory or heart problems, while nails that are raised at the base can also signal respiratory trouble. Square, wide nails can be a result of a hormonal disorder while flat, thin nails can be from insufficient vitamin B12.
The texture of fingernails can tell as much about a persons general health as the color can. Below are some common texture abnormalities and what they can possibly indicate.
Nail textures: Vertical ridges that appear on the nail can indicate disorders as simple as iron deficiency, poor absorption of vitamins and nutrients, overall poor health or they could indicate something as serious as kidney trouble. (So, you see why consulting your physician is so important.) These vertical ridges, as well as bumpy nails, can also suggest that one is prone to developing arthritis. Ridges running horizontally across the nail can indicate physical or mental stress.
Nutrition plays an extremely important role in every function of our bodies, right down to the tips of our fingers and toes, literally. As well as signs of other possible disorders, nails can let us know how we add up when it comes to getting all of our required nutrients.
Since nails are mainly made up of protein, they can immediately alert us to a lack of it in our diet. White lined bands across the nail beds can signal a protein dificiency. You can get protein from beans, oats, seeds, nuts, eggs and lean meats.
Calcium is also important for healthy nails. Without it, the nails lose their strength and become brittle and dry. You can find calcium in green leafy vegetables, dairy products, sesame seeds or even a daily supplement.
As mentioned before, ridges in the nails can be a result of vitamin deficiency, one of which is the B vitamins. Vitamin B is needed for strengthening, while vitamin B12 also strengthens while promoting normal nail growth and healthy coloring.
Vitamin C is another necessary vitamin. Adequate intake can help prevent hang nails and swelling of nail tissue, and a frequent occurance of either of these symptoms is a good indication of a deficiency.
Probably the most common sight on the nails is the "white spot". Although it has been noted that white lines can be symptoms of a serious disorder, their presence is more than likely a result of iron or zinc deficiency. Before worrying about any severe disease, your first step should be to see your doctor and have him/her test your levels of iron and zinc. Zinc supplements are easily found in any pharmacy while additional iron intake needs to be monitored by your physician.
The best way to assure yourself of healthy nails is to eat a well balanced diet. You'll need plenty of protein as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Sufficient water intake is also important, for as well as keeping the rest of you healthy it provides moisture for nails. If you feel you are still not getting enough essential vitamins and minerals it is recommended that you take a comprehensive supplement.
Accessorize with a Bobby Pin
It had constantly been a secret to her, where had her corsage gone?. That has stolen her jewelery including her crystal bracelets, bobby pins as well as other fashionable accessories from her important box of trinkets.
Shopping around the space she found no hint or signals relating to who the perpetrator may possibly. She really missed her bobby pins and crystal bracelets. Not just for did he skip them, but she needed the property to work her wonderful secret that he meant to move ahead evening toward the Summer fair. Things want to change, she wanted to change it price tag issues and quickly. Her accessories were someplace, her hair grips and hair bands should be found. In the end, your complete world of fashion was at stake.
She heard a noise inside the corner about the place and taken on look. It seemed to be Bobby Pin, her lifelong doggy companion. He smiled forlornly at her, she took that to suggest he had had no chance finding her fashion accessories anywhere. Her shining jewels, her crystal trinkets, not really her silk corsage. All were missing. She to be able to actually have a necklace or ear-rings put on.Where were her earring's?
Time is used up, she only had % of cancer deaths moments to put together to the celebration. This evening party where was vital to look great commencing on another along these lines. She needed to fit the part and then to be presented properly in the direction of Lord and Lady. She had been stunning dinner dress and for you to re-fashion it using a buttonhole, bobby pin or simply a floral tribute. But without her fantastic collection of fashion accessories she felt just like she would be entering many of the bare.
The opportunity to take a easy attire additionally to jazz it up with an array of beautiful jewelery was one real skill and fortes. May her friends usually talked about the truly great accessories that he wore. Glittering crystals and jewelery associated with the inexpensive nature usually featured the most basic of evening dress to make it stand above the listeners and check out great.
But now she was struggling to find a fix. Where would she find inspiration she required to jazz up what will probably grown to be a dull and boring evening? She left her room and moved along the stairs. She heard laughter and revelry from below, and really plan to get in on the celebration the instant she could. But without her crystal bracelets, button holes, corsages along with other glittering jewelery this could be a issue. She was required to reveal her accessory and jewelery package and she or he will have to discover it in rapid sequence.
Just then she seen the body armor inside of the corner of any vestibule seem like a few inches taller than she remembered it being. She looked down and questioned whether or not it was an optical phenomenon. It wasn't, the armour was stood for an additional package. Her father contacted
I thought I put your existing chap over the box I located in the room, I don't mind, here is a dose of a centrepiece and today are the night of night of
She smiled, realising the actual height than a armour had gained was a consequence of it being stood for my child jewelery package. She asked among the passing footman to lift the armour in the second or she removed it and replaced it with another package. She opened it plus they're inside were her glittering crystals. The crystal bracelets, her corsages, her necklaces, her earrings, her bobby pins and all sorts of all of those other jewelery which could help re-fashion beautifully for our celebration that evening. She were able to pull her design and fashion ideas together at just one more moment.
Creating Custom Apparel
T-Shirts are a big business. Originally (according to some sources) a sleeveless cotton singlet that was worn by dock workers unload crates of Tea and hence the name "Tea shirt" to be shortened to t-shirt. Another source, which is more modern claims that the name came from its shape. Either way t-shirts are a fixture on the fashion scene and there and an infinite variety of Custom T-Shirts display all sorts of logos.
As an item of clothing they apparently came from the navy where the royal navy issued white cotton shirts as undergarments to their sailors. During world war I the US navy also adopted this practice and these were immensely popular as the serge or shoddy that the uniforms were made of was fairly rough causing scratching and itching.
Anyway the US army saw and adopted the T-shirt and started issuing it and from then on it is an item issued in the uniform code of all US Service personnel. It is usually made of 100% cotton and is thus absorbent and cooling. Although meant as an undergarment is hot climates it was soon worn as the only garment on the top of the body.
And so the popularity of this essentially simple garment grew and grew. Normally round necked and short sleeved the basic t-shirt is still sold as an undergarment but now, since the advent of shirt printing t-shirts with a variety of designs and logos are sold in all clothing and sports stores. Designed names produced slim line t-shirts. T-shirts particularly for ladies are part of high fashion.
There is a huge demand for custom printed t-shirts for any number of reasons, and they need not be expensive. Having one's own custom t-shirts printed is not new but the cost can come way down if you design your own imprint online.
From the design that you can create a silk screen will be made, with a separate screen for each color. Silk screening is a process of picking out the various part of the design on a silken fabric the rest being made impervious. The printing ink can thus penetrate only where it is picked out and then the garment rotates to the next screen where the ink of the second color is pressed through. In this manners quite a few colors can be imprinted but one should note that each color requites a separate screen and thus the cost will increase.
But whether you want custom printed t-shirts for a sports team or a single event all things are possible. People design and have t-shirts printed for all sorts of reasons, Church groups, a bachelorette party, a particular event, to commemorate some achievement or just to show group solidarity.
Shirt printing is not restricted to t-shirts but is of course popular on Polo shirts, on Hoodies, on sports apparel as well. How best to show off the fact that a whole bunch of folk are members of a particular party than by having every one wear the same design. Of course this also applies to businesses providing their staff with a form of corporate identity.
The focal point of any necklace is the pendant. Pendants can be found in a variety of styles and sizes. From something small and delicate, appropriate for a young child, to a priceless diamond gracing the neck of the elite, the goal is always the same; drawing the eye. You don't have to spend thousands to have a beautiful pendant, and it can be the inspiration for a stunning piece you create all by yourself.
It All Starts With an Idea
Most women have some idea of what they want when they go jewelry shopping. Unfortunately, jewelry, like every other fashion industry, follows trends. That means that you can't always find what you want and often have to settle for something that isn't quite right. Sometimes the problem is the size, other times the length, but no matter the reason, it just doesn't satisfy your need.
If you have an idea of what you want your necklace to look like, you are ready to design your own jewelry. Now it is time to find the right pendant.
Which Material Is Right?
Jewelry making is a multi-stepped process. The material your pendant is made from will help narrow down your choices for chain, cord, or string. Pendants are available in precious or base metals, stone, glass, horn, wood, shell, and just about anything you can imagine. The more expensive the material, the fancier your connector is likely to be.
In addition to what your pendant is made of, you want to consider the structure. Do you want a cabochon, which is very flat, or something with more dimension? Should it represent something? Many stones have specific meanings; crosses, stars, and Egyptian symbols are only a few of the many spiritual pendants you may choose from.
Finally, don't forget to consider allergies. If you have sensitive skin, it is probably best to avoid pendants made from pewter, copper or brass, or anything that has any nickel. Glass, un-dyed stone, sterling silver, or gold are probably your best bets.
Complete the Look of Your Jewelry
Once you have your pendant, it is time to complete the look. A simple sterling silver pendant may look best on a silver chain. A glass pendant may need a few glass beads strung with it to be set off just right. Picking the strand is both a matter of taste and style. With some online software options, you can create your whole necklace in the virtual world. This lets you see exactly what the final product will look like in advance.
The finishing touch is the clasp. There are dozens of styles and looks you can use to complete your necklace. The materials are almost as diverse as those you find in Pendants. You pick the clasp by considering the value, use, and composition of your necklace. If you are unsure of how to proceed, ask for help from the professionals who work at the company.
For example, a heavier necklace will call for a ring and bar clasp or a larger lobster claw clasp. Something light and delicate may be completed with a spring ring. A magnetic clasp is ideal for someone with arthritis in their hands, while a screw clasp designed to look like a bead is secure and discrete.
The final product will all start with that all important pendant you selected in the beginning. Best of all, it will be truly your own.
If the idea of designing your own jewelry from the pendant up appeals to you, then come visit us at. We have everything you need to make your jewelry dreams a reality.

Easy Tips to highlight your beauty Makeup can make any one look and feel gorgeous; it does however need to be applied correctly. When applying your makeup there are a few thing that you need to know before you start purchasing or using certain products, such as your skin type, skin texture, skin tone etc.
Now that you are ready to look and feel great here are some quick and easy makeup tips you may want to try out next time you want to look stunning and gorgeous.
1. Beautiful Bold Reds - a classic feminine red lip stick …worn correctly can make you look stunning, the key success in creating this look is to make sure that the lips stand out above all else, making sure that your eye makeup is as natural and minimal as can be, almost nude. When choosing your red tone ensure you match it to your skin color and complexity… remember … red is not just red!!! There are pink-reds, orange- reds and blue-reds. If you have a pink undertone in your skin it would be wise to avoid pink-reds, if your skin is more yellow in colour avoid orange- reds and if you are lucky enough to have a neutral skin tone… go all out ( unless you have your hair dyed some absurd colour !)
2. Eye lashes can create that extra punch that will make your eyes stand out. If you have inherited big beautiful eye lashes then all you need is a little extra eye liner and mascara to achieve the desired look. For us unlucky ones with smaller eyelashes don't worry, you can create the illusion of bigger, bolder lashes by faking it! For a natural look, use a strip lash and cut it in half, apply to the outer corner of the eye. This will create a beautiful eye shape as well as a subtle volume and length. For a bolder look use the full strip, just make sure you cut it to size and always cut from the outer corner.
3. Blush Color – Blush is one thing that really needs to be selected carefully. The purpose of blush is to add some color and warmth to your face to make you look a bit more alive not to mention 3d! (For extra definition of the cheek bones a bronzer will help with contouring) If you have chosen the wrong shade of blush, it may in fact do the opposite for you, bringing your face down and making it look dull and lifeless. Also remember that blush is applied to the apple of the cheeks, don't be tempted to learn your makeup tips from nana who still applies her blush in a big pink stripe down her cheeks !
4. Creating a Smokey eye CAN BE EASY! .This sexy glamorous eye technique can be achieved with a bit of practice and some good brushes. If this is your first time attempting a smoky eye, try starting out with a shade other than black! Once you master the skill of blending ( with a good blending brush you can then move on to a darker shade. It also might be a good idea to do your eyes first and your foundation last to avoid 'fall out' underneath the eyes, which can be hard to remove without a good makeup remover. I know professional makeup artists who still use this technique of applying foundation! Finally, a good guide to colors is choose a mid-tone to cover the mobile lid (whole eyelid) a deeper shade for the contour ( the socket line of your eyelid) and a highlighter for the space in between your socket and your eyebrow. I hope these beauty tips help you.
